Product: KISS Wedding Books :-)

I know I’ve posted about these before….. but I can’t help but post about these amazing books! Two weeks ago, I made it a mission to finally sit down and design our wedding album. I feared that if I didn’t accomplish this soon- it would never happen. So I sat for 2 nights in a row after work to complete all the spreads. I had just set out to do the minimum 10 spreads- but quickly realized that once I was designing slide 9… and just starting the ceremony photos, I had a problem…. this book was quickly becoming way more than the intended 10 spreads. So I sat… mulling through the 700+ fabulous photos Story Photographers gave us…. hemming and hawing over which ones to include- which ones would tell the story of our day the best. Multiple times I asked Jeremy to come and look at this- do you like this? What about this? ect. ect. ect. At the end of the 2nd night I had 22 spreads, and they were all perfect. I then uploaded and ordered to KISS… and idiot me…. I chose media mail….. why? because I’m cheap, and it was the cheapest option. As soon as the order was placed I wanted that book in my hands, I just couldn’t wait to hold it! I’ll probably never pick media mail ever again…. I ordered that thing like 10 days ago, and 10 days is just too long to wait for such an amazing book. Then…. I decided I wanted needed a 4×4 mini KISS sample. The green one pictured on our products page was a for a client, so we didn’t have one. So- I decided out latest engagement shoot of Andrea & Steven would be perfect! I got to designing again…. and I have to admit, once I ordered it, I was almost as excited to hold it in my hands as my own wedding book! Well, KISS has a new policy on their 4×4 mini KISSes, you have to order them 2 at a time now…. so guess what Steven & Andrea…. you’re getting a little present in the mail soon 🙂 We’re not greedy and we don’t need 2 copies of the same book, so we’ll be sending you one of the two shortly! So here’s the lovely books that were waiting for me when I arrived home (an hour early from work…. yes, I was so excited I left work early!) Our Album…. 10×10 White Leather 🙂    Yum. Probably my favorite spread…… although I’m not sure yet! The mini KISSes 🙂 The 4×4 mini in blue, the 8×8 in green & the 10×10 in white

Product: CD Packaging!!

I had a vision of how I wanted our packaging to look, and I can finally say we’re getting closer!!! I REEEEAAALLLLY wanted these CD sleeves we’re using to be letterpressed with our logo. But as you might imagine (if you’re familiar with letterpress) it’s insanely expensive. { This is what it looks like } As in… it was going to cost an additional $200 for 50 of our CD sleeves. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t consider it. I hemmed and hawed over it for a good 2 weeks before deciding against it (for now anyways). Instead, I ordered a $40 stamp from Paperwink. And I have to say…. I’m super pleased with it!!! For now, we’re stamping with chocolate brown, not one of our business colors but it goes well with the chipboard CD sleeve…. and, well, I had chocolate brown ink left from our wedding invitations So why not use it! That’s all for now…. check back later for some baby cute-ness!
