A Black, White & Gold Christmas

This all started over a month ago when designing some holiday party invites with a chalkboard look. I got to thinking, my house has really changed since we initially bought Christmas decorations 5 years ago. The living room used to be green, red and orange….. and then about 3 years ago we painted everything gray and white (when we redid our floors). So the decor we have really doesn’t go with our tree. I asked Jeremy what he thought about black & white holiday decor, and he didn’t seem to mind it…. that was my green light to GO! We planned to get our tree last night but the lot we go to across the street from our neighborhood is closed on Mondays (along with the farm it’s at). So, I did what anyone would do when they are in the Christmas spirit and can’t do a whole lot about it…. I proceeded to wrap a large majority of the gifts I bought! Over the last month, anytime I spied wrapping paper in my new color scheme, I picked it up. These all came from TJ Maxx. The ribbon is from Michaels and Target (the leopard is from last year, and I have a huge stash of it!) Want to know how I make my bows? Check out the tutorial I did last year. We’re picking up our tree tonight, cannot wait! A little inspiration from Pinterest….. Check out my Holiday Board for all images & sources. The chalkboard tags in the middle bottom are the ones I’ll be using!
