Newborn: Kendal Brianne

I have been desperate (ok maybe not desperate, but reeeeeaaaalllly wanting) to do a newborn shoot…. and lucky for us…. Kendal Brianne was ours for a little while 🙂 Kendal was born very jaundiced. She spent the first week of life in and out of the doctors office having her blood checked…. but on Thursday afternoon, we took a little stroll over to the playground to have a little fun with her. Sabrina (mom) said she’d been sleeping constantly, and they were even having to wake her up to feed….. quite unusual for a newborn. Perfect, I thought…. a sound sleeper = great newborn pictures! Well…. on Thursday… day 6 of her little life, she was not into sleeping. She was more awake than ever, and just needed some serious cuddling. In between her “lung & vocal cord exercises” we still managed to capture some serious adorable-ness….. yes I just made that word up. I think it’s the only proper way to describe Baby Kendal….. and no, this does not make me want to jump on the baby train….. just yet. 🙂 Enjoy! Mom and Dad lovin…. I want this one on a big canvas…. I just love it. Big Brother, Little Sister Kaleb’s face = Priceless….. “Is this all she does?” One of my favorites!!!! All time favorites!!! Jeremy snuck over to the playground where Kaleb & Tim were hanging out and got these…. I LOOOOVE THEM!!!

Maternity: Williams Family!

I met Sabrina almost 4 years ago. I had been working for the YMCA, left for the summer to take a seasonal job, and when I came back to the Y, Sabrina had been hired as my new boss. A few months later we ended up switching positions, I became her boss, and then got her another part time job with me at the NC Azalea Festival office. Needless to say, we spent lots of time together! Just after I moved back in with my dad 3 years ago, Sabrina and her husband, Tim had their first child, Kaleb. I was so sad I had left Wilmington, and missed seeing Kaleb when he was a baby. Well, several months ago, Tim had the opportunity to accept a job in Mooresville, he happily accepted and now they are only 5 minuets down the road! They found out they were pregnant with baby #2 just after Jeremy and I got married, and we were so excited to have them close by when the baby was set to arrive. Sabrina was nice enough to dress her hubby and son up, come over and fight the summer thunderstorms for some photos at 37ish weeks pregnant! Her due date *WAS* July 1st…. but baby Kendal Brianne made her debut a little early! She was born this past Friday morning!!! Jeremy and I were on our way to DC for my day job and are VERY sad we weren’t able to be in town for Kendal’s birthday, but we can’t wait to meet her, and take some newborn photos of her!!! Congrats, Tim, Sabrina and big brother Kaleb!!! Proud Parents. Show Your Belly! A little silhouette action… My View… Another Jeremy View… My View…. We’re SO happy for you guys, we love you bunches!!!

The Stafford Family + Rain! : Take I

I’ve known Kim, basically my whole life. Her mom and my mom were best friends…. now that I’ve graduated into the grown up world, we’ve managed to find one another again. We met her, her husband and three adorable kids out at Cedarock Park near Burlington last Saturday. It wasn’t supposed to rain till 5…. so we were thinking we’d have plenty of time….. wrong! We were only out there about 10 minuets before the skys opened up…. But, don’t worry- we’ve rescheduled, so we’ll try again…. but in those 10 rain-free moments…. we got these 🙂 Stephen… such a handsome guy! One adorable family…This guy…. he’ll be a heartbreaker one day I happen to really like the interaction in this one….
