Wedding: Steven & Andrea: Wilmington, NC: Part I

They are both engineers and graduated from NC State. They were our kinda people already 🙂 We met Steven & Andrea back on July 4th weekend for some engagment photos and couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding. We knew it would be a great time, with some super fun people. We couldn’t have asked for a better couple to shoot for our first wedding- they were sweet, fun, had awesome bridal parties, and were good lookin’ 😉 Jeremy dropped me off in Leland at Andrea’s mother’s house to meet up with the girls, while he went off to find the guys.  Then, it was ceremony time! They tied the knot on the Cape Fear River Deck, in downtown Wilmington.  …. the girls rode the Wilmington Trolley down to the site…. ….. My goal was to have this entire wedding edited and blog ready before leaving on vacation yesterday- and, well, that didn’t happen. So- when we return home, I’ll blog the rest of Andrea & Steven’s day! Happy October- tomorrow is mine and the hubs FIRST anniversary! I can’t believe that one year ago today, I was scrambling around, decorating the reception hall, and being mad that my rentals were late, and the wrong amount! Wow….. we’ve come a long way, baby!

Baby: Wake Forest Cheerleader

As I said here…. this was one early morning…. but it was all worth it. Emma was happy, the skies were still overcast, the rain held off, ect. ect. ect. ….. and Wake won their football game that day! I’d like to think Emma’s school spirit had something to do with it 🙂 We started out at the track. She’s only about 6 weeks shy of being 1, so we set her up on the inside lane 🙂 Then we had some fun with the track team’s hurdles….. we’ll take whatever props we can find! We made our way over to the stands…. this photo isn’t the greatest or anything- but I think it’s adorable how she’s looking up at her daddy. Her mom & grandma are both WF alums…. and grandma had to have some shots with the iron WF’s in the quad 🙂
