Wedding | Heather & Ryan

Two weeks ago I had one very rainy opportunity to shoot with Emily Renee out at the Palmer Building in Charlotte. We arrived really early, first ones there actually. So we spent the time walking around, picking good spots for photos, and shooting as much of the details as possible. Poor Heather & Ryan, they’d planned for a wedding on the patio, but settled for getting married indoors because of the rain.

While Heather was getting primped I got to hang out with the guys…..

Despite the chilly rain, Heather & Ryan decided to have their first look outside in front of the Palmer Building.

Their had been plans to go off to a park & do portraits, but with the gloomy weather, it didn’t happen. However, this left us lots of time to do group shots! The front doors to the Palmer Building flooded the entry with beautiful, natural light. Thankfully, we had 2 very willing groomsmen to stand out in the rain with umbrellas and hold the doors open for us!
