I am a member of an online community of photographers called SWPB (greatest.group.ever.). One of the members, Kelly, said last week, her and her man were eloping in Vegas on Sunday of WPPI. It was from there organized by Christine (another photographer) that we would “flash mob” the wedding. Everyone & anyone who wanted to show up at the Bellagio was welcomed to shoot the wedding.
I tentatively planned to be part of this, but we had plans to see the Hoover Dam & weren’t sure how that would impact our afternoon. Lucky for us, we pulled on to the strip about 315…. wedding was scheduled for 4! Perfect, we can make it!!! I am SO glad we did.
We got to the designated spot a little early, Jeremy & I staked out facing opposite directions so we could spot them coming. Then we looked down & saw the groom standing with a few other SWPBers, we joined them…. and just in time…. there Kelly came!
We decided to pick a different spot for the ceremony, so we made our way down the sidewalk…. and the people around us started to chatter… “omg, they are getting married… we have to go watch!!” …. and they did! Kelly & Sean had quite the crowd surrounding them!
The wedding was sweet & short, lasting only a few moments.
