Maternity: Williams Family!

I met Sabrina almost 4 years ago. I had been working for the YMCA, left for the summer to take a seasonal job, and when I came back to the Y, Sabrina had been hired as my new boss. A few months later we ended up switching positions, I became her boss, and then got her another part time job with me at the NC Azalea Festival office. Needless to say, we spent lots of time together! Just after I moved back in with my dad 3 years ago, Sabrina and her husband, Tim had their first child, Kaleb. I was so sad I had left Wilmington, and missed seeing Kaleb when he was a baby. Well, several months ago, Tim had the opportunity to accept a job in Mooresville, he happily accepted and now they are only 5 minuets down the road! They found out they were pregnant with baby #2 just after Jeremy and I got married, and we were so excited to have them close by when the baby was set to arrive. Sabrina was nice enough to dress her hubby and son up, come over and fight the summer thunderstorms for some photos at 37ish weeks pregnant! Her due date *WAS* July 1st…. but baby Kendal Brianne made her debut a little early! She was born this past Friday morning!!! Jeremy and I were on our way to DC for my day job and are VERY sad we weren’t able to be in town for Kendal’s birthday, but we can’t wait to meet her, and take some newborn photos of her!!! Congrats, Tim, Sabrina and big brother Kaleb!!! Proud Parents. Show Your Belly! A little silhouette action… My View… Another Jeremy View… My View…. We’re SO happy for you guys, we love you bunches!!!

Headshots: Ashley Gillett

Readers, meet the lovely and talented Ashley Gillett! We connected several months ago via a flickr.com forum we both participate in…. we realized we were in the same town and needed to get together! She graciously asked if we’d do some new photos for her, and of course we agreed. She specializes in baby and child photography and is a super sweetheart. Thanks for baring the 95 degree evening with us! We hope you love them 🙂 Couldn’t decide if I liked the one above better, or the one below…. so I’m blogging both…. it’s my blog, I can do that 😉 Dreamy. She’s a Nikon girl like us….. so I swiped Jeremy’s camera for this shot 🙂 Thanks again for tolerating the heat with us!!

Family: The Hartsell’s!

Back in April my day job held an auction to raise money for Haiti relief. I decided to donate a shoot for the cause, and the lucky high bidders were John, Emily & Ryleigh! We met them at their home in Concord last  week, and they had a special treat for us! They took us over to a family friends’ property, with all kinds of cool stuff! An old home, beautiful green grass, round hay bales, and lots of other goodies! These are all black and white and I love the feeling that it gives them 🙂 Without further reading… here’s this adorable family and all their cuteness! There were several kitties around to play with! Off to explore! I want this on a canvas… It’s one of my favorite shots to date! Her cute little pants kept falling down, so mom and dad had to keep up with her, to keep them up! After a while Ryleigh got the hang of pulling them up herself… it was pretty cute! She sat in this swing for about .2 seconds, I can’t believe we managed to get this photo! It’s one of my favorites! Why am I up here all by myself? Everyone taking a breather…. this was one of those 95 degree days we’ve been having, and we were all spent! Thanks so much Hartsell family for letting us spend a few hours with you!!!
